Natasha Pterosova was born in Moscow (Jun 3, 1982). She begun painting and drawing from early age.

Her first art teacher was her grandmother - Maria Kuznetzova - whose art career was interrupted by Bolshevik Revolution and later by the World War II. While living in Moscow, Natasha attended art school for children and participated in multiple art shows and competitions. Natasha came to United States with her parents (Peter and Ivet) in early 90s. Here in United States she studied art at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, the same school that Thomas Kinkade graduated from.

Currently, Natasha lives and works in Long Beach, California. She is a member of Long Beach Art Association.

Her art can be seen in multiple galleries in Long Beach, Los Angeles as well as galleries throughout United States. She is represented by Mac Worthington gallery in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout the years, Natasha developed her own, unique technique. She does not use brushes to paint and strictly paints with palette - knife.

Her palette - knife skills and oil paint create vivid landscapes and cityscapes full of bright colors and watery reflections. Most of her painting come from personal memories and emotions. Natasha tries to draw the viewer to have a certain feeling or emotion rather than telling a story with her paintings.
