Ebrahim Amin was born in Hamedan, Iran. He fled the revolution in Iran and relocated to Munich, Germany which was dominated by classical style art.
In 1995 he visited Orange County, California where the Plein Air art scene left an impression on him of endless artistic potential. He moved to Southern California in 1995 attracted by Plein Air paintings of the Laguna Beach, California art colony.
He currently operates "Amin Fine Art" in Laguna Beach. For the last 25 years he has painted plein air frequently painting seascapes and landscapes in the region. He has a body of work of vineyard landscapes in Napa and Sonoma Counties. This is a vineyard landscape from this period dated 2005. He is a signature member of the prestigious Oil Painters of America (0PA) and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Assoc.
