This is a gorgeous and well done Antique California Plein Air Impressionist Seascape Oil Painting on artist board, by the mysterious Carmel, California artist Guldlin Pedersen? This work depicts a torrential seascape scene at Carmel Beach, and is rendered in the typical Plein Air palette knife technique. Signed: "Guldlin" in the lower right. Additionally, notations on the verso read: Guldlin Pedersen. Not much, if any biographical information is available on the mysterious painter, but perhaps you know more about this artist?

Approximately 29 1/8 x 37 1/8 inches including frame. Actual artwork is approximately 22 x 30 inches. Good condition for age, with light scuffing in some places to the canvas. Original period frame has mild scuffing, edge wear and paint loss.
