This is a beautiful and rare early Antique California Plein Air Impressionist Oil Painting on canvas, by Los Angeles painter Ezra Greenfield 1881 - 1961. This work depicts a beautiful fall scene in Los Angeles County, possibly Pasadena. In this painting you can see an idyllic landscape scene with trees, hiking trails, and a small house with a chimney. A lake mountain range can be seen in the distance. A label on the back of the frame reads: Ezra E.
Studio & Home 441 North Prarie Ave, Inglewood CA. There is some light paint loss in a few areas due to age, on the left half of the painting please see photos. Approximately 22 3/4 x 26 3/4 inches including frame.
Actual artwork is approximately 18 x 22 inches. This is a beautiful work from an early California Plein Air artist who's paintings rarely ever come up for sale.
